Jordy and I share the same passion for exploring underground quarries and mines. Since he's also into biking, we decided to combine both his hobbies in 1 picture and challenged ourselves to get a jumping shot inside a pitch dark quarry.
After finding a suitable location, we setup our lightning equipment: 3 external strobes. Whilst I was laying on the floor, Jordy made several jumps, scarily close to the lens. Due to the slow recycle times of the flashes I could only take 1 shot per jump so I had to time it right. The fact that I didn't see him coming until the last second made things even more difficult and it costed more then 10 tries to finally get the shot we were after.
